Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland and more open up about what’s to come on “Arrow.”
SUIT UP — Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) new recruits for Team Arrow are Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (guest star Rick Gonzalez) and Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin). Unfortunately, the Green Arrow’s training methods prove to be too much for some of them to handle. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Oliver’s initiation into the Bratva continues.

High definition screencaptures from last night’s season 5 premiere of Arrow have been added to the gallery. I’ve also replaced the one episode still featuring Thea with its high quality version.

Thea (Willa Holland) isn’t letting the annoying paparazzi, her blood lust, or a recent tragedy stop her from finding love in an exclusive deleted scene from the Arrow season 4 DVD collection.
In this clip from the episode “Blood Debts,” Thea is hounded by the paparazzi as she’s leaving the hospital where Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is undergoing surgery for her crippling gun shot wound. Thankfully, Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) campaign manager Alex (Parker Young), worried she might actually kill them, arrives in time to pull from her from the fray. “There’s a whole crowd of people bothering you and you didn’t almost kill any of them. Wanna go back? I mean the hospital is right there. We can get everyone stitched up real quick,” Alex asks Thea.
However, Thea is happy to inform him that she hasn’t felt the urge to kill anyone for some time. Now that she’s feeling better, Thea asks Alex if he would like to go on another dat e— this time without her drop-kicking someone. Obviously, he says yes. (It’s hard not to be filled with dread knowing the twisted turn their relationship takes).
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. Oliver returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs of his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), former police captain Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum). Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City.
With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity – but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.

Yesterday was a very special day at Comic Con International (also known as San Diego Comic Con) as Superheroes and villains took over the convention, Arrow being one of DC’s CW shows to attend the convention. Joining Stephen Amell, Echo Kellum, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman and Paul Blackthorne, Willa and the cast were at the convention to promote the fifth season of the show. I have added to the gallery all photos released so far from the convention. I’d like to thank my friend Steph for the big help on the high quality pictures. I’ve gathered all information released during the Press Line and the Q&A about the upcoming season (and some Willa facts), which you will find down bellow along with a radio interview the cast did for SiriusXM Radio, plus under the cut you’ll find all videos so far released from the convention!
- Thea has been picking up Oliver’s mayoral slack apparently when season 5 starts.
- Willa loves burgers.
- “Who would they play?” Willa would play Batman.
- Willa said Thea left Star City to really focus on herself, something she needs.

Arrow Special Video Presentation and Q&AIn the face of worldwide nuclear destruction at the hands of the maniacal mystic known as Damien Darhk, Oliver Queen (a.k.a Green Arrow) united Star City with a message of hope that allowed him to vanquish the season 4 Big Bad once and for all. However, our heroes’ triumph came at a cost, and the future of Team Arrow was left hanging in the balance. Now, as the show takes aim on season 5, Oliver will set out to save his city from a new threat-one that he personally created-as both the newly appointed mayor of Star City and as the Green Arrow.
